Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRED SUPPES Peacefully, with his loving family at his side, on December 23, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Sherwood Park Lutheran Church, 7 Tudor Cres., Winnipeg, with viewing at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Tom Lurvey officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden, 4477 Main St. Besides his beloved wife of 64 years, Martha, he leaves to mourn his passing, his son Glenn; daughter Elaine; three grandchildren, Graeme, Iain and Stephen Suppes; one brother Elmer Suppes (Myrtle) of Emerson, MB; one sister Amelia Nielsen (Harvey) of Hallock, MN; numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elizabeth; brothers, Dave, Jacob, John; and a sister Elsie. Pallbearers will be Graeme Suppes, Iain Suppes, Stephen Suppes, William Suppes, Dennis Schindel and Ken Schindel. Fred was born September 12, 1919 in Overstone, MB and raised there. He worked at Building Products of Canada (EMCO) in Winnipeg for 39 years as an industrial mechanic, retiring in 1982. He was very creative and had many hobbies: woodworking, electronics, mechanics and gardening and pursued them actively until several years before his passing.
