FRED GOEBEL April 21, 1933 - December 25, 2005 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Fred Goebel on Sunday, December 25, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Fred was predeceased by his father Philip, mother Kay, and stepfather Ernie Todd. Fred will forever remain in the memory of his wife, Irene of 52 years; daughter Linda; grandson Kyle; mother-in-law Edith Chamberland; brothers-in-law Gordon and Doug Chamberland, as well as many cousins, aunts, and friends. Fred began a career with Canada Packers that spanned 36 years from where he retired in April 1988. He then enjoyed his many trips with mom to their favourite casinos down south. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the nurses and doctors of MICU and 5E at the St. Boniface Hospital. They would like to also thank the family and friends for all their help and support. According to Fred's wishes, cremation will take place and a private service will be held at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home.
