Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER HARRISON Walter Harrison born August 15, 1918 in Valley River, MB passed away peacefully on December 24, 2005. As a young man he was an active member of the Ukrainian Labour Temple Association of United Ukrainian Canadians and Workers Benevolent Association. He was known for his dancing and singing in the choir. As owner of the Coffee Cup Restaurant, across from the old Dominion Theatre, he was an avid supporter of the arts and will be remembered for his wonderful food and conversation. Walter's restaurant was affectionately known as little Sardie's by the theatre community. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary; sons Robert (Christel) and Peter (Shawn); grandchildren, Samantha, Maxwell and Hanna; siblings Stephen Harrison, William Harrison (Isadora), Anne Swerdlow, Olive Cohen (Philip) and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother John Harrison, in-laws Anne Harrison and Maxwell Swerdlow. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. But his greatest joy was his family. He loved spending time camping, travelling, bird watching and most of all fishing. He will be fondly remembered fishing on the shore as the sun was setting repeatedly calling ..... last cast. Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
