LOUISE (LUCY) JENNINGS 1913 - 2005 Peacefully, on Sunday, December 25, 2005, at the Convalescent Home, Lucy Jennings passed away at the age of 92 years. Lucy was predeceased by her husband Bill and infant son John. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rose (George) Nicklin, Bill (Alma), Ron (Bev) of Beausejour, Tom (Fern); her brother Frank (Lillian) of Dugald, sister Dena (Gerald) Gillies of Hamilton, ON, sister Betty (Bob) Kartzmark of Sarnia, ON, numerous nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Roger (Lyla), Melody (Murray), Rob, Ken (Sherri), Jim, Brian (Jackie), Ainsley, great-grandchildren, Shannon, Jennifer, Madison, Bradley, Taylor and Logan. Lucy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 29, Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Ave. West. With Rev. Jeff Cook officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Lucy to the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg or to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba. Sincere and heartfelt thanks to the Convalescent Home for all their loving care and support given to not only Lucy but to her family as well.
