Uncle Walt you will be missed. The first thing I think of is your booming voice. You were definitely a giant with a big heart. My thoughts are with your family and I wish them a healthy happy New Year and know they are filled with lots of good memories. Dear Family: We all loved Uncle Walt. My parents told stories that bring a smile to my face. When Walt heard of my parents engagement, he asked my mother , "Why are you marrying an Old Man?" My Dad soon won over Walt's trust and friendship, which lasted over 40 years :) Whenever we visited, he used to tickle us with his greeting, "Hello Yanks". The last time I saw him he asked "Why is your behind so big? I started a diet and lost 60 lbs!!! Thanks Uncle Walt :) I send all of you my love. - Posted by: Karla Osvath (Family) on: Dec 29, 2005

Aunt Mabel & dearest Otto Cousins, Uncle Walt was held in the highest esteem by the entire Martin & Florence Howe Family. It was truly an honour and a pleasure to visit with him and get to know him over the years. Without a doubt, Uncle Walt is one of the most likeable, interesting, intelligent, fascinating and charismatic people we have ever known. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you in this your Time of Sorrow. Uncle Walt is now with the Angels in Paradise. With Lots of Love and many hugs! I will always remember Uncle Walt as a good man and a wise man, but one with a twinkle in his eyes as he us told his favorite jokes. I think as he grew older, that endearing "impishness" showed more and more and made us all smile wider. Thanks Uncle Walt for the gift of laughter! I loved Uncle Walt and will miss him very much. Uncle Walt loved a good argument but from listening to others I learned to stay away from those subjects. After my dad died in 1975 Uncle Walt and I became very close, not only was he my Uncle he was my friend. - Posted by: Sherre Walker (Family) on: Dec 28, 2005
