Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySLAVKO (GERRY) STUBLER Peacefully on December 25, 2005 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Slavko Stubler, beloved husband of Sylvia Stubler, passed away two days before his 71st birthday. He also leaves to mourn his sister Maria (Leo) Trtnik. He was predeceased by his parents and son Silvo. Slavko was born on December 27, 1934 in Slovenia. It was there where he met his wife of 48 years, Sylvia, and in 1958 together immigrated to Canada where they raised their family. Slavko spent most of his time in the construction business where he met many friends, and at times his work also took him to Northern Manitoba and Regina. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing at Manitoba Narrows and Grand Rapids where fishing was good, and when he wasn't fishing he could be found tending to his garden and flowers, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 95 MacDonald. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, December 28 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Pallbearers will be Brenden Stubler, Matthew Stubler, Chris Wisniewski, Leo Trtnik, Jacob Perus and Dan Perus. Honourary pallbearer will be Jeremy Stubler. The family would like to thank Dr. Harris and the Unit 1 nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
