Solange was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She lived her life with grace, dignity and courage. She also accepted her illness in the same manner. She left a gift of strength, hope and especially inspiration to all the people she met during her journey. She left her family with a strong assurance of her love. Solange always said her greatest joys were spending time with family and friends. Whether it was people she invited or unexpected guest, she was excellent at making everyone feel welcomed. She enjoyed having people over for a meal. Day or night the door was always opened. Solange was a lady of compassion, unselfishness and character. We all know how caring, loving, warm and straight forward she was. Solange loved humour and liked to laugh. She loved people and people loved her. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all the very special and wonderful people who helped Solange in her struggle with cancer. A special thanks to Gilles, Irene and family for devoting so much time to helping the Fiola's and to Lynne, a special cousin, who took such good care of Solange.
