RUBY VIOLA ANDERSON (nee LARSON) Ruby Viola Anderson (nee Larson), a resident of LacLu, ON passed away on Monday, December 26, 2005 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Isidor and Annie Larson; husband Gunnar; and brothers, Ernie, Lorne, and Roy Larson. She is survived by her children Brian (Linda) Anderson of Golden, BC, Randy Anderson of Calgary, AB, and Nancy (Art) Smith of Craig, CO; as well as sisters, Linnea Johnsrud, Edna (Graham) Calvert, Judy (Albert) Coates, Helen Ming, Lillian Brown of Hixon, BC and her brother Jerry (Joanne) Larson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Allan (Tiesha) and Corrie (Janine) Anderson, Sean and Scott Smith, Randi Anderson; great-grandchildren Eric and Melissa Anderson, and Brook and Bailey Anderson who were her pride and joy. Ruby was a member of the Eastern Star in Kenora, ON, she loved to bake and cook for all of her family and friends, never putting herself ahead of anyone. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Centre with cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Cowen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Bethesda Lutheran Church or to a charity of one's choice. Gone but not forgotten.
