He was predeceased by his loving parents Alex and Clover; his brothers Dale and Dave; his sister Nancy; his first wife Audrey; and his second wife Marjorie. He grew up on the family farm, worked for a short time on his own farm, then moved to Edmonton, AB where he began a long career in the construction industry. Gordon semi-retired, but continued to do small jobs with woodworking, and helping out his brother Dave's crane company, especially loving the rodeo circuit. One highlight of his life was his trip to Scotland with the Clan Fraser Society in 1997. After suffering a paralyzing stroke, he returned to Winnipeg and lived out his days in the River East Personal Care Home, whom the family truly thanks for all their care and attention, especially during his final time. At his request, cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will occur at the Greenwood Cemetery in Carman, MB. A Service of remembrance, officiated by his son Rev. Ian B. Fraser, will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30 in the Auxiliary Hall, Royal Canadian Legion Carman Branch #18. Followed by a gathering of family and friends at the same locale.
