Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE HAZEL CALLUM Peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Pembina Manitou Health Centre, Marjorie Hazel Callum age 97 years, beloved wife of the late Edwin (Ted) Callum of Miami, MB. She is survived by one son Jack, grandchildren; Kent, Spencer, Steven, Dylan, Dallice, Dave, and Danielle. She is also survived by two daughters-in-law, Leslie and Joanne. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin (Ted) Callum, one son Bruce Callum, and parents Arthur and Maude Devins. She was born in the Miami area and lived on a farm before moving to Miami with her parents. After completing high school she graduated as a registered nurse from the Children's Hospital in Winnipeg and nursed for several years at Winnipeg Municipal Hospitals. She and Ted were married in 1935 and farmed in the Miami area. She enjoyed gardening as a hobby, skating in her younger years, and curled extensively in her later years. She was a charter member of the Pembina chapter of the Eastern Star Lodge. The family would like to thank the Pembina Manitou Health Centre for the care and kindness given to Marjorie over the past three years. Funeral Service will be held from the Miami United Church on Saturday December 31 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Debra Orton officiating. Interment will follow at the Miami Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Pembina Manitou Health Centre, Manitou, MB, R0G 1G0, or to the Miami United Church, Miami, MB, R0G 1H0. Doyle's Funeral Home, in care of arrangements.
