Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (LIL) SHIRLEY Lil was born on April 16, 1914 in Liverpool, England. She passed peacefully into her eternal sleep on November 5, 2005. She was a loving, caring and courageous mother and friend with humour and a smile for all. Lil was predeceased by her daughter Pat (Bob); her sisters, Eleanor (Ken), Kitty (Sid), Peggy (Frank), Frances (Andy), Madge (Walter); her brothers, Tom (Jean), Len (Mary) and Ted. Lil is survived by her daughter Penny (Leo); her sons, Bill (Elaine), Tom (Marylynn), Hugh (Beth), John (Pam); 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also special friend Marlene (Peter). Grateful thanks to Dr. J. Forster and the staff of Sidney Care Home for their compassion and care. There will be a private family memorial. No funeral or flowers by request. Donations may be made in Lil's memory to the Victoria Hospice Society or Operation Eyesight.
