Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMYRTLE ANNIE HALLSON With great sorrow the family announces the peaceful passing of Myrtle Hallson, loving wife of Ed, at the Betel Home in Selkirk on December 27, 2005. Myrtle was born in Roblin, MB on December 9, 1924. Her family moved to Winnipeg and in December of 1942 she met Ed and they were married on April 30, 1943. Together they raised one boy and two girls; Bob (Elsie), Doris and Donna (Gerry). Also left to mourn are her four grandchildren, Randy (Tricia), Cheryl (Greg), Jason (Anna) and Dean (Alanna); five great-granddaughters, Amanda and Danielle Hallson and Bryanna, Naykia and Dakota Massey. She was predeceased by her mother Ann and step-father Peter McBride. Family and friends are invited to join the Hallson family in a service of celebration and remembrance of Myrtle's life on Friday, December 30 (today) at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and a family interment of ashes will take place at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr. Demsas, nurses, aides and all the staff for their outstanding care of mom during her stay at the Betel Home. In lieu of flowers, donation's can be made in Myrtle's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite200 # 6 Donald St., Wpg, MB, R3L 0K6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
