GEORGE EUGENE DIONNE August 12, 1916 - December 28, 2005 It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, at the age of 89 years. George is survived by his wife of 65 years Therese (nee Marion); three sons, David, Gilbert, Maurice; one daughter Yvette (Fern) Clemente. Also left to mourn are grandchildren, Lynn (Garnet) Nazeravich, Cindy (Mike) Ferguson and four great-grandchildren, Marissa, Cassie, Daylan and Joshua. He is also survived by his sister Rose-Helene Arcand and his brother Andre. He was predeceased by his daughter Noella in 2004. Born on the family farm in St. Joseph, MB, George married Therese and raised his family in St. Jean-Baptiste, MB. He served in the army in the Second World War and worked as a mechanic for 45 years. Dad was a hard working man, devoted to his family. We the family would like to thank the staff at Red River Valley Lodge for their kind and compassionate care. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2006 at St. Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Charles Fillion officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermont Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
