GRACE ETHEL JEANNE LUND (BELLINGHAM) Grace Ethel Jeanne Lund passed away on December 29, 2005 at age 85. Born in Winnipeg, MB, Canada, Grace worked for James Richardson and Sons before moving to Minneapolis in 1956 where she was employed by Farmers Mechanics Bank until her retirement in 1982. She and her husband Dwain moved to Crosslake, MN altering a family cottage into a permanent home. There they enjoyed an active life in the community's many opportunities for volunteer service. They also enjoyed boating, golfing and social engagements. They used new freedom from careers to travel extensively, keeping in touch with family and friends and exploring other parts of the globe. After Dwain's death in 1993, Grace moved to Brainerd, MN where she quickly involved herself in this community while continuing Crosslake relationships such as playing bridge and attending services at Crosslake Lutheran Church. Each spring she boned up on new tax laws to prepare her for joining fellow AARP members in helping seniors fill out their income tax forms. She enjoyed working as a secretary for her condo group, volunteering services at St. Joseph's Medical Centre in Brainerd, and sometimes driving cancer patients. Grace has also been predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Adam Bellingham, brothers, Sidney and William, sister-in-law Helen Lund and brother-in-law Claire Lund. She leaves to mourn her sisters, Margarite Gibson and Kathleen Dalton; stepsons, Roger Lund and Thomas Lund; and Tom's three children, Tommy, Carrie and Victoria. Grace's family is immensely grateful for the kind assistance of her many friends who have given tremendous assistance during her illness. In keeping with her wishes, she will will be cremated with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd, MN in charge of arrangements. There will be no memorial service, but each of us can call on our individual memories of her loving spirit to celebrate her life.
