WILLIAM (BILL) HORASKA With great sadness, Bill passed away December 30, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 88 years. Bill was born February 2, 1917 in Calder, SK. During his early years, farming was his occupation but playing baseball and western music were his loves. In 1947, he took his family to Winnipeg. He then worked at Carter Motors and Murray Chev. Olds. for 39 years and will be remembered by his customers and colleagues as being very dedicated and knowledgeable. He retired at the age of 71 years. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Rose in 1989; two brothers and four sisters. He leaves to mourn his passing, his sons, Andy and Rick (Maureen); grandchildren, Keith and James; sister Victoria of Calgary as well as his extended family and many friends. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Health Sciences Centre for the excellent care he received. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Friends may make a donation in Bill's memory to CancerCare Manitoba if they so desire.
