AGNES C. KNOCKAERT (nee DEMEYER) April 1915 - December 2005 Peacefully, on December 30, 2005 Agnes passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband George (1984), her parents, five brothers and one sister. Agnes will be missed by her son Richard (Kathy McGhee); grandchildren, Susan (Mark), Laura (Darcy); great-grandchildren, Sarah, Gray and Sierra. Agnes will also be remembered by her two sisters, Susie of Vancouver, Lucy of Winnipeg, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Agnes liked to stay active; bowling (Belgian, lawn, 5 pin and 10 pin), cards, baking and cooking for her family. According to Agnes' wishes a private service will be held at Assumption Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge, 2nd floor for all the care and kindness shown to Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Agnes memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Winnipeg, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
