BENJAMIN HOWARD CLAY With deep sadness we announce the passing of Ben Clay on Friday, December 23, 2005, after a brief but brave battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joan; his daughter, Linda; his son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Michelle; his sister and her husband Margaret and Jim Bradley; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved grand-pets Sadie, Sadie, and Roxie. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary; and his sister Jean Winchar. Ben was born in Winnipeg, MB, in 1935, and worked for TCA / Air Canada for 35 years in Winnipeg and Vancouver. He was a hard-working and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed but always remembered. A celebration of Ben's life will be held for all of his friends and relatives in Winnipeg on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Assiniboine Gordon Inn On The Park, 1975 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, Ben's love of animals may be honoured by donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society in his memory.
