KEVIN UNRAU Kevin Unrau was born on the August 12, 1966 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He left this world very suddenly to be with his Lord and Saviour on December 28, 2005. Left to mourn his passing are his parents, Nick and Marge Unrau, his brother Harvey, his sister Rhonda and brother-in-law Jonathan Funk. Also missing him greatly are his nephews Ryan, Daniel and Joshua and niece Mikayla. A large extended family and his friends also mourn his passing. Kevin was associated with the Winnipeg Free Press, first as a carrier and later as a shipper and driver for almost 30 years of faithful service. His faith in God and commitment to his spiritual family at Home Street Mennonite Church were central to Kevin's life. He will be greatly missed and we are filled with sorrow at his parting; and joy at his going home to heaven. Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! Oh, what a fore-taste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of his spirit, washed in his blood. Perfect submission, perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight. Angels descending bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love. Perfect submission, all is at rest. I in my Saviour am happy and blessed, Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with his goodness, lost in his love. This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day long. This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day long. Fanny J.
