Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURETTE ALARIE Laurette passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2005, at Tache Centre at the age of 84. She was born on January 15, 1921, of Amedee Alarie and Marie Robert. Laurette attended Normal School in Winnipeg and received her teachers certificate, she taught at several rural schools. After retiring from teaching she worked as secretary for L'Association d'Education des Canadiens Francais du Manitoba. She did volunteer work at Tache Centre for many years. She is survived by her sisters, Germaine Prenovault (Denis), Yvette Cochingyan (Amando) and Ninette Alarie; by her brothers, Denis, Donat (Irene), Gilles (Cecile) and by many nephews and nieces. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of 2ABC Wing Tache Centre for the excellent care Laurette received. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, January 6, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Cathedral. Interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Agathe Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Tache Centre, 185 Despins, R2H 2B4, or to a charity of choice. La necrologie de Laurette paraitera dans le prochain numero de La Liberte.
