ROBERT (RED) FILLION It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and brother Robert Red Fillion on December 30, 2005, at Boundary Trails Health Centre. At the age of 47 he leaves to mourn his loving wife of 20 years, Anne-Marie (Houle); and his children, Roxanne, Marc, Louis and Deanne. He also leaves to cherish his memory six brothers, Maurice and Joanne (Houle), Eugene and Sandra, Leo and Joanne, Gerald and special friend Karia, Albert and Suzanne; one sister Doreen and husband Bernard Proulx; brother and sister-in-law, Aurele and Laurette (Chartier); mother and father-in-law, Arthur and Georgette Houle and many nieces and nephews. Red was predeceased by his parents, Antonin and Florence (Pelland) Fillion. We would like to thank the staff at Boundary Trails Health Centre for their compassionate care and support, and a very special thank you to Dr. Woelk and nurse Cheryl Penner. We would also like to thank family and friends for the support during our difficult journey. Open prayer was held on Monday, January 2, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Jean Roman Catholic Church. Funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday, January 3 at 2:00 p.m., with viewing and prayers at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Jean Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Boundary Trails Community Cancer Program, Box 2000 Station Main, Winkler, MB R6W 1H8.
