Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEVERLY COUTU January 3, 1958 - January 1, 2006 Peacefully, with her husband at her side, Bev passed away after a lengthy illness. Bev is survived by her loving husband Robert Coutu; son Gerald Lavallee (Crystal); grandsons Brandon and Dorian; mother Lorraine Lavallee; father John Lavallee; brothers Carson Lavallee, Melvin Lavallee, Randy Chartrand, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Bev was predeceased by her brother Dave (Tom Tom) Chartrand. Bev was born on January 3, 1958 in Winnipeg, MB and spent the last 15 years residing in St. Laurent, MB. She enjoyed gardening then canning and sharing her efforts. She loved flowers and every spring made sure to surround her home with beautiful flowers. Her most cherished times were spend with her husband Robert going for rides in the 4X4, watching movies with her beloved son Gerald with munchies, and especially picking up her coody-coo Brandon for a weekend at the trailer. Bev truly lived life to the fullest, cherishing every moment and memory experienced. She was incredibly proud of her son and the joy her grandsons brought to her. She will be forever in our hearts. Family and friends are invited to a viewing to be held on Friday, January 6 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, MB. Prayers will be said on Saturday, January 7 at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their love, care and compassion throughout Bev's stay. We miss you Mom/Bev but in the moments of our deepest grief we will hear your laughter, feel your love and be comforted. Now you will rest in peace.
