Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE MAY TRUTHWAITE December 27, 1925 - January 3, 2006 Peacefully with her family at her side, Rose May Truthwaite (nee Gard) passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on January 3, 2006 at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her children Doreen (Ray), Sharon (Paul), Kenny, Violet (Darell), Rick (Anita); 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grand-children, one great-great-grandson and one brother Charlie (Diane). She is predeceased by her husband Donny; parents, Phillip Gard, Violet Gard (nee Switzer); brothers, Jimmy, Fred; two sisters, Mary and Nellie. Rose was born on December 27, 1925 in Fisherton, MB where she was raised with her three brothers and two sisters. Donny and Rose were married on September 1, 1945 and spent most of their married life farming in the Hodgson area. Viewing will be held at the Fisher Funeral Home in Fisher Branch, MB at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6. Funeral will be held at the Manitoba Metis Federation Hall on Saturday, January 7 at 11:00 a.m. with Wesley Barrett officiating.
