MICHAEL JAMES RITCHIE June 24, 1959 - January 3, 2006 It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the peaceful passing of our son, brother, dad, and uncle at the age of 46. Mike was predeceased by his mother Beth Ritchie in the spring of 2004. Mike's memory will be cherished by his father, Alex Ritchie; Helen Ritchie, and his sons, Rick, Dave and Dylan; sister, Doreen Thurston; nephews, Greg and Scott; brother, John Ritchie, wife Joanne and niece Lauren; his dog Bandit and the many friends and extended family. Mike was passionate in his relationship with his family and was always there for them. In his lifetime, Mike proved his ability as a multi-trades person, a lover of nature and the outdoors. A celebration of Mike's life will take place on Saturday, January 7 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Road United Church, 613 St. Mary's Road.
