EVA WOLFE (nee WHARRAN) Eva (nee Wharran) passed peacefully from this life to be with her Lord on December 30, 2005, at age 82. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Joy St. Onge (George); son James (Pat); grandchildren, Darryl and Crystal; brothers, Harvey and Ivan; and sister Elsie; other family members who will greatly miss Eva are Carl, David, Karen and Scott. She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Eva was born in Sunnynook, AB, on January 31, 1923. She moved to Saskatchewan at an early age where she grew up on a farm. She loved spending as much time as she could riding horses and helping her dad outdoors. Her other passion was reading. Eva became a teacher and taught in one-room country schools. She married, had two children and moved to Winnipeg where she continued teaching. She taught many years at Salisbury School before she retired at age 64. After retiring, Eva enjoyed traveling. She visited Israel, Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska and most of Canada and the U.S.A. In her later years she spent many hours reading and studying scriptures and Christian books. She loved getting together with her family. A private service was held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., on January 5 with Pastor Logan from Calvary Temple presiding. Mom will be remembered for her unique sense of humour, her love for her family, her generosity and her deep faith in Jesus. Mom is now in Heaven where God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. - Rev. 21:4 THOMSON IN THE PARK FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY 1291 MCGILLIVRAY BLVD (BETWEEN PEMBINA WAVERLEY) 925-1120
