Lloyd was born in Winnipeg and joined the Fort Garry Horse at the beginning of the Second World War. He was posted overseas twice and was awarded the DCM. I entered in to, you might say a circle of life, starting with Tiffany, we grew close then parted ways then became friends once more. Tiffany soon opened up to me and I knew all that hurt her the most, I soon met Vicky, Tiffany's Mother and sister who Tiffany tried to look over and I am sure still does. Vicky's daughter Jessica, and lastly her father, my interest was peaked when I knew he was in the Fort Garry Horse tank unit, as was my stepdaughter's grandfather Harly Walterson, they received the same medals at the same time together side by side, in pictures. Were as Jessica and my stepdaughter Ashley were a odd connection, Mr Cuddie stated he remembered Mr Walterson, and he was a great guy, I had the pleasure to view some war time pictures, of his and had gone down to the pottery shop on Corydon to view some of his work time to time, I talked to the pottery owner, after his passing, and his memories of him our always with me, (thanks Vicky for allowing me into this Circle of past and future friendships) - Posted by: James Cossette (Friend of the Family) on: Sep 25, 2019
