JOHN SCOTT HEUVEL Suddenly, on January 3, 2006, Scott passed at his home in Johnson, IA. Should friends desire, donations can be made in Scott's memory to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation of the United States. Left to treasure his memory are his beloved wife Deborah LeBrun Heuvel, PhD and their daughter Nichole Lena LeBrun Heuvel. He is also survived by his parents, John Walter Heuvel and Gloria Ann (Farion) Heuvel; his sister Lindor Reynolds; niece Katie Reynolds; brother Richard Heuvel, niece Chantel Heuvel, nephew John Heuvel. Scott was born in Winnipeg, MB on September 28, 1955. He attended H.C. Avery, Jefferson Junior High and Garden City High School. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with an engineering degree in 1977. He began his engineering career with the Province of Manitoba surveying with the northern railroads. He became a highly respected structural engineer and eventually partnered his own firm for 10 years, while also working on his Masters Degree. In 1999 he accepted an exceptional opportunity and headed south becoming President and then Director of IPC, Inc. In his personal life Scott married Deborah LeBrun (Illinois) in 1982, a woman who shared his special passions. Their daughter Nichole Lena LeBrun Heuvel was born in 1984 and is a communications/pre-law student at the University of Iowa and Drake University. Scott loved spending time with his family, sharing exotic vacations, enjoying their show dogs and horses and golfing. He will most be remembered for his amazing sense of humour, with a dash of wickedness, heaps of love and understanding, incredible professional expertise and talent, with a topping of genius. Professionally and personally Scott's leaves an irreplaceable place in the hearts of his loved ones.
