MARGOT IVERTA OHLMAN (formerly DOAK) (nee SUND) Peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, Margot Ohlman, aged 95 years, passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home. Margot will be lovingly remembered by her twin sons, Clifford (Pearl) of Chilliwack, BC, and Gerald (Alice) of St. Andrews, MB; twin daughters, Darlene Morwick and Marlene Giesbrecht both of Winnipeg; daughter Karla (Roger) Desautels of Ste. Anne's, MB; daughter-in-law Alma Doak of Winnipeg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Thelma Hjalmarson. She was predeceased by her son Clayton Doak; daughter Belva Korstrom; two sisters. Margot was raised in the Woodlands area and later on, owned and operated Pine Hollow Service in Vermillion Bay, ON. Following the sale of Pine Hollow, she owned and operated Art-Mar Kennels raising tea cup poodles; starting in Winnipeg and eventually moving herself and her business to Chilliwack. Upon her retirement in 1986, she returned to Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the staff at Maples Personal Care Home for their care. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 9 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook Street with viewing one-half hour prior to the service. Interment at Woodlands Cemetery.
