LORISE WOJCIECHOWSKI Surrounded by family and friends, Lorise Wojciechowski passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2006. Lorise had the ability to make friends instantly and had a knack for drawing people to her. People always felt comfortable in her presence. Lorise had the laughing virus . Her laughter could always be heard across the building. She will be missed by many friends, old and new. Lorise had an artistic flair and a passion for the arts. She enjoyed painting, graphic design, welding, cake decorating and flower arranging. Her trip to Hawaii last year was a very educational and wonderful experience that she thoroughly enjoyed. It influenced all aspects of her life, especially her art. Mahalo to the people of Hawaii for providing her with this inspiration. Mahalo nui loa also to the doctors, nurses and staff at Health Sciences Centre who helped her through her illness. Your thoughtfulness and friendship will always be remembered by family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations in Lorise's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 685 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to a charity of one's choice.
