JOHN SANDERSON October 22, 1938 - January 5, 2006 Peacefully on January 5, 2006 at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, John Sanderson passed away at the age of 67 years. John leaves to mourn his loving wife of 47 years, Rosaleen; daughters, Darlene (Albert) and Cindy (Gordon Jr.); sons, Ivan, Stewart (Karen) and Henry (Brenda); 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Shorting and Irma (Henry) Desjarlais; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Jemima Sanderson; in-laws, Robert Mary Jane Sumner; infant daughter; son, Melvin; brother, David; sisters, Louisa and Winnifred; sister-in-law, Bella; brothers-in-law, Lawrence, George and Leonard; and his grandson, Randy. John was a kind person always trying to help others, he was there to help someone in need. He loved life, loved his grandchildren, always taking time for them. John loved to go camping and travelling in the summer with his family. Most of his life John suffered an illness, but he didn't let it hold him back from doing the things he enjoyed. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors staff at the St. Boniface Hospital and the Seven Oaks Hospital Dialysis Unit, the Little Sask Chief Council, the Anderson Family Funeral Home, and to the community members for their support, both financial and through their prayers, during our time of loss. A wake service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB.
