HANNAH CARUSO (nee SCHWITTECK) On January 1, 2006, Hannah Caruso passed away at Kelowna General Hospital. Hannah was born on November 14, 1947, at Altona Hospital. She attended Grunthal school district until grade 8 and then furthered her education in Winnipeg. In July of 1965 she married Peter Caruso in Winnipeg, where they resided and raised a family in St. Vital. Besides her husband Peter who she dearly loved, the hardest to leave behind are her three daughters, Corinne (Richard Nitchie), granddaughters, Brianna and Lena of La Salle, MB, Brenda (Stephen Munn), grandson Ryan of Calgary, AB and Denise (Chris Krahn), grandson Kanaan and granddaughter Mya of Peachland, BC. Hannah's first love was her family, church and friends and her work at Safeway and Sears where she enjoyed serving customers. She loved to read and listen to music, camping in the Whiteshell and later at their trailer home in Lac Du Bonnet. In lieu of flowers send a bouquet to someone who can enjoy it while living or do something kind for someone who needs it or whisper a word of encouragement and love to our young people and fellow-man in my memory! Until we meet again... Open your heart to Christ and then learn to live by his promises every day. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life! Funeral was held in Westbank, BC on January 5, 2006. Memorial service will be held at a later date in Winnipeg, MB.
