Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH KANIK It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband and father, Joseph Kanik on Sunday, January 1, 2006. Joseph was born to Albert and Mary Kanik on July 4, 1928, at their home where he resided until he was married in 1958. Together with his wife Helen, they lived in Winnipeg for the last 47 and one-half years. He was predeceased by his father Albert; mother Mary; sisters, Stephanie and Connie. Left to cherish his memories are wife Helen; son Todd (Holly); sister Lilly; sisters-in-law, Anne, Mary (Bryan), Kathy (Ted); numerous nieces and nephews, their families and many friends. The family wishes to express thanks to Dr. Ormiston, Dr. Embil and the emergency staff at Concordia Hospital. A memorial service will be held Monday January 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 701 Regent Ave.
