ROSEMARY MURRAY (MEISNER)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSEMARY MURRAY (nee MEISNER) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rose Murray on January 5, 2006 at her residence. Mom was born September 10, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Mary Meisner at Burlington, VT. Her only sibling Adele Heelis also predeceased in 2005. Rose was married on September 20, 1949 to Clifford Charles Murray for 37 years. Most of their married life they raised their family in Winnipeg. Cliff passed away December 20, 1986. Mom was a member of the Fort Rouge Legion for 24 years. There she enjoyed playing bingo and cribbage with her many friends. She also liked going on the bus tours to the gambling casinos. Shopping was also one of her favourite pastimes. She lived at South Osborne Place for 18 years and loved every minute of being there. Mom's memory will be cherished by her son Ken Murray (Audrey), her daughter Heather Stevens (Doug), Lynne Torpey (Rob) and Colleen Smith (Bob). She has eight grandchildren, Joanne (Robin), Todd, John (Sara), Scott (Chrissy), Kevin, Jennifer (Robert), Kerrie and Raymond (Jennifer). Her eight great-grandchildren will also miss her. Private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 10. A luncheon in honor of Mom will be held at South Osborne Place, 360 Osborne St., Winnipeg, MB in the Multi-Purpose Room, on Tuesday, January 10 at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mom to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Dear Mom Thank you, for all the years and all the time we spent together. Your love and constant moral support along with your friendship has meant everything to me.
