PEGGY LEE April 9, 1920 - January 4, 2006 Peggy Lee passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, James; her children: Robbi (Sheldon) Kaminsky of Winnipeg, and Ron Lee (Gail Pierangeli) of Victoria; her two grandchildren: Carey and Kelly; and her sisters: Kay and Doreen. Peggy was predeceased by her parents; her brothers: Jack, John, Ging and Bobby; her sisters: Mary, Gladys and Betty. The family would like to say a special thank you to all of those that have been of such help during Peggy's long illness, especially Almira Shewchuk and the committed and caring staff at Fairview Home (5th Floor). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 510 Frederick Street, Brandon, MB R7A 6Z4. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Peggy's life will take place at a come and go tea at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, on Sunday, January 8, 2006 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
