JAMES A. E. (JIM) BRAND Suddenly, at home in Guelph, on Thursday, January 5, 2006. Jim Brand, 68 years of age, was the beloved husband of Lee-Ann (nee Whalen) Brand. He was the loving father of Kathy Lewis and her husband James. Terry Brand, Darren Brand and his wife Lucie, Shannon Brand and Krista Godinho and her husband Paul. Jim was the loved Grampa of Garrett, Wesley, Taylor, Josiah, Elijah, Micah, Judah, Angelia and Ethan. He was the dear brother of Shirley Long and her husband Bill of Calgary and Betty Smith and her husband Gail of Saskatchewan. Jim will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews, family in Scotland and friends abroad. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph where the family received friends on Sunday, January 8 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 9 at 11:00 a.m., cremation to follow.
