ROBERT BRUCE GALLIMORE Bruce died peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2006 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 59. He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis (Derham); step-mother Isny Gallimore; brother Alan (Fran), sister Beverly Doyle (Richard) of Caledonia, ON; mother-in-law Muriel Derham; sister-in-law Heather Kleiner of Saskatoon; brother-in-law Clive Derham (Irene Giesbrecht). He is also survived by 9 special nephews, 1 niece and numerous cousins. Bruce was predeceased by his father Bob in November 2005, brother Wayne and mother Clara Margaret. Prior to Bruce's retirement he was employed by Infasco for thirty years. Bruce had a tremendous zest for life . It was seen on the Pine Ridge Golf Course, at the cabin at Ingolf where he loved to fish and times spent at Long Lake and Whytewold with Phyllis' family. He took great pride in his many garden projects and was a member of the Buffalo Bowling League. After retirement, Bruce joined the Wellness and developed many wonderful friends who delighted in watching him zip around his 50 laps on the track. He had a comment or joke for all he met. But most of all, Bruce was a kind, loving husband and friend. He influenced the lives of many he touched. His quick wit and charm will be sorely missed. Life on Edith Bay will never be quite the same. Phyllis would like to acknowledge the wonderful care and support provided by her Edith Bay neighbors and friends. Especially her angels Laurie Leibert and Barb Baluk who made her ordeal much easier to bear. We would like to thank all the staff on N3 East at Concordia Hospital for their compassion and professionalism. You are all a credit to the hospital. Bruce is also missed by his constant companion, their West Highland Terrier Zoe. Donations in Bruce's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society would be most appreciated. Immediate cremation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In time we can accept a great loss if we have somebody loving us through it. God sends friends and companions to love and support us. I have been truly blessed. Phyllis. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
