DAVID MCCULLOCH Peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2006, David McCulloch of Winnipeg passed away at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 77 years. Remaining to forever cherish Dad's memory are his wife Marion; sister June Kilborn (Keith); brother Jim; children, Bonnie McCulloch (Murray), David McCulloch (Sally), Nancy Mackenzie (Charles), Dean McCulloch (Laurel); grandchildren, Sarah (Allan) and Karla Mackenzie (Steve), Cara (Lee), David, and Michael McCulloch; sisters-in-law Doreen Persoage (Joe), Muriel Perry and Anne Gullikson as well as numerous other family members and close friends. On August 10, 1928 Dad was born, the son of the late James McCulloch and Jane Scrimgeour of Scotland. He married his beloved Marion on June 5, 1948. They raised their family in St. James throughout their entire marriage. Dad started his hardworking career as an engineer at Pellisiers but only for a brief time. He later went on to work for the Molson Brewery for over 30 years. The deep and meaningful friendships he developed throughout his career meant so much to him. After his retirement from Molson, he worked as a valued casual engineer at the Grace General Hospital, where again he made a lasting impression on the lives he touched. Dad found the most joy in spending time with his many friends and family members. Everyone from the Wallasey street group, his co-workers, his family members, and his childhood friends always gave him the greatest pleasure and fuelled his fabulous story-telling capabilities. In more recent years, he looked forward to his Tuesdays at Golden West Centennial Lodge where he was an active participant in their activities. A celebration of Dad's life will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m. in Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive. The family expresses their gratitude to Grandpa's devoted home care workers over the past eight years. Special thanks to the staff of ICU and the fifth floor of Grace General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Sturgeon Creek United Church or the Grace General Hospital are greatly appreciated. Forever loved, forever missed and forever remembered David's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
