HELEN M. KNIGHT It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Marguerite Knight (nee Rye), widow of James A. Knight, on Monday, January 9, 2006. Helen leaves to mourn her sons Arthur (Beth) and Jim (Holly); daughter Mary (Michal) Kubasiewicz; grandchildren, Scott (Lisa), Karin (fiance Glenn), Kristen, Alex and James; great-grandchildren, Douglas, Jessica and Briana; sister-in-law Patricia Rye; cousins Doris Cottrell, Fran Mutch and Marion Rae, and many nieces and nephews. Helen was born in Toronto, but was raised and educated in Winnipeg. She was a Rebekah for 54 years, belonging to Sunshine Rebekah Lodge #43 and then Olive Branch Rebekah Lodge #1. Helen was President of the Rebekah Assembly of Manitoba in 1980-81. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu, donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Golden Links Lodge, 2280 St. Mary's Rd., Winnipeg, MB, R2N 3Z6. Thanks are expressed to the staff of Golden Links Lodge for their care and compassion, especially to those on the 2nd floor, where Helen resided for six years.
