ALICE LETVAK (nee STEFANUIK) August 1931 - January 2006 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Letvak on Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Riverview Health Centre. Alice was born on August 13, 1931 in Prud'Homme, SK. Alice was predeceased by her father William and her in-laws, Maurice and Mary Letvak. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Herbert; son Gregory (Beverly with Natasha); daughters, Deborah (Jim) and Lynn (Garry); granddaughters, Alexis and Stacy. Also left to cherish her memory are her mother Sophie; sister Annette (Chris); brother Terry (Victoria); brothers-in-law, Gordon and Bruce (Suzanne) as well as her loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with reception to follow. The family extends their thanks to the staff of Health Sciences Centre and Riverview Health Care Centre for the care given to Alice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
