GRACE D. (LYTLE) COCHRANE It is with heavy hearts and deepest sorrow our family announces the passing of Grace (Lytle) Cochrane, aged 80 years. Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Grace passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2006 at St. Paul's Home in The Pas. A gathering of friends will take place on Thursday, January 12 at the Army, Navy, Air Force Veterans Hall, 80 Nelson Rd. between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Leslie King officiating a private graveside service will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the Thompson Cemetery. Originally from Scotland, Grace came to Canada in the late 1940s and settled in Manitoba. She touched many lives in years while living in Portage La Prairie, The Pas and Winnipeg before retiring in Thompson so she could be near to her family. She was a member of Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans and being so she met a great bunch of people, those who knew her will recall fond memories of camping, cooking, bingo and especially the late night poker games. She leave to mourn her passing her sons, Larry (Annette) of High Bluff, MB and Andy (Sandra) of Thompson; her daughters, Isabel Dube of Carberry, MB and Heather (Rudy) Giesbrecht of The Pas; grandchildren, Ray (Claire) Dube, Debbie (Stan) Dube, Duane (Coreena) Dube, Kirk (Michelle) Fedje, Kari (Dennis) Shymanski, David (Gabriel) Lytle, Amanda (Travis) Lytle and Katie Lytle; great-grandchildren, Rachel and Grant Dube, Riley and Desi Dube, Danielle and Curtis Shymanski and Eric and Kayla Fedje. Plus numerous relatives and friends. Grace was predeceased by two husbands, Fred Lytle and Walter Cochrane. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire donations may be made in Grace's memory to the heart and stroke foundation of Manitoba, in care of Barbara Corden, 264 Dadson Row, Flin Flon, MB R8A 1T9.
