Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN D. MCINNIS Peacefully with family by his side, John passed away at Grace Hospital on Wednesday, November 16, 2005. Survived by his loving wife Beverly, daughter Judy Chabot (Gilbert), Edmonton, stepsons, Larry Davey (Raija), Winnipeg and Wayne Davey, Edmonton. Proud Papa to grandsons, Michael, Jari Davey, Justin, Jonathon and Jefferey Davey. He is also survived by sisters, Jean Groux of Thunder Bay, Mary Gibson (Brian) Aitikokan, ON; brothers, Angus (Joan), Campbell River, BC and Jerry (Barb), Geraldton, ON; childhood friend Joe MacKinnon (Helen), Thunder Bay, ON; also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. John was born in Antigonish, NS in 1923. He enlisted in the army in 1941 and served as gunner in Canada, Britain and Northwest Europe. He was discharged in Halifax in 1945. John was past President of Br. 242 Manitowadge, ON. John was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and William McInnis and sister Peggy and brother Ronnie. The family would also like to thank Deer Lodge Centre for their care and support and to Dr. W.C. Schellenberg for his compassionate care over the years. Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held in the spring at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice. Together Forever
