RONA LEE RUTH MAYNARD 1952 - 2006 Absent from the body and present with the Lord...and so shall she ever be with the Lord. Rona, surrounded by her loved ones, passed into the Lord's presence on January 7, 2006. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Marston Grindey; daughters Becki (Kelvin) and Lana (Devon); grandchildren Kayleigh, Jamie, Randi, Dylan, Kobe, Bailey and Nevaeh; extended family members, Brian (Jerri), Kevin (Michelle), Paul (Dallas), Laurel (Jason) and grandchildren Allie, Anna, Abby, Elissa, Leif and Ireland. Rona will be greatly missed by her father John and siblings Greg (Ella), Michelle, Wendy, Colleen (Ray), Jackie (Garrie) and Michael (Melanie), and all of her nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Sarah Ruth and nephew, Adam. Rona loved life and lived it to the fullest. She especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She was an avid golfer, skier, gardener and homemaker. Her contagious smile and wonderful sense of humour were a blessing to all who knew her. Rona was a valued and dedicated employee with A.F.M. for 27 years. The family extends deepest appreciation to the medical staff of Cancer Care Manitoba, Assiniboine Centre (Palliative Care), Boissevain and Deloraine Regional Hospitals, friends and colleagues for their gracious care and support for Rona over the past six months. Please join us for a Celebration of Rona's life at the First Baptist Church, 3881 Park Ave., Brandon, MB on Friday, January 13, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jim Rushton officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rona may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave, Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9 or to a charity of choice.
