ANTOINETTE LEONIE DEEGAN It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Antoinette Deegan on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Antoinette was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Francis James Deegan, and her mother Marie Blezy. Antoinette was born on November 28, 1917 in Storthoaks, SK but lived most of her life in St. Boniface. She worked in the Eaton's China Department for many years. Antoinette took pride in her garden and her house, many people often walked passed her house to admire her flowers. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc St. Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery, 917 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Antoinette's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or to the Canadian National Institution for the Blind, 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3.
