JEAN LADEN (nee QUILTY) Peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2006 Mary Regina Laden passed away with her children by her side. She was predeceased by her mother, father and husband Bill. Jean will be greatly missed by her children Linda (Freeman), Bill (Linda), Pat, Robert, grandchildren, AJ (Sue), Christine (Dennis), Lisa, Elvie, Warren, Christopher, Jeffrey (Carly), Shawna, great-grandchildren Krysta, Tiffany, Jeremy, Lindsay, Dillon, Kayleigh, Michael, Matthew, Landyn and great-great-granddaughter Hailey. Her many brothers, sisters and friends back home in Newfoundland will miss her love and compassion. Her friends at Sts. Peter Paul Parish will miss the call of her voice yelling BINGO as she enjoyed her pastime. Jean was a heart of stone for her family, providing love, guidance, friendship and courage though her long life before Diabetes finally took its toll. Her family would like to thank the staff of I.C.U. at Grace Hospital for allowing her last moments to be peaceful and caring. Also the many doctors and nurses over the years who helped Jean have a very productive life after retirement. Cremation has taken place and a small memorial will be held at Wheeler Funeral Chapel at 701 Regent Ave. in Transcona at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12. Your spirit will always be with us, your love is forever in our hearts. We will miss you.
