FRANK BRAKEL On January 8, 2006, our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend left this world to continue on with his journey. In passing, he leaves to mourn his wife Louise; his daughter Melissa, who was his ray of sunshine (her mother Rita); Jeffrey and Jennifer, his step-children whom he loved as his own; his sisters and brothers, Hank (Marlene), Diane, Gerrit (Tina), Ken (Betsy), Greta (Jake), George; and many nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased some years before (1968) by his mother and father Frank and Helen Brakel. A small private service will be held at Green Acres. Special thanks to his nephew Rick for his concern and support over the last few months. It meant a lot to Frank. Thank you also to Dr. De Rocquigny and the staff at the Victoria Hospital. May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, the sunshine warm upon your face, the rain fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand. (Irish Blessing) Frank, I hope you are walking free and without pain along the white beaches of the Caribbean somewhere. I know that you had found such peace, comfort and happiness in doing that . Love, Louise. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery Hwy. #1 E. at Navin, (204) 222-3241
