ELPHEGE (ALF) PROULX Elphege (Alf) passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 73, on January 9, 2006. Alf is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lucille; children, Carol, Wyatt, Tim (Jackie), Dwayne (Dawn) and Shelly, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother Aime (Flo); and sisters, Mona (Art) and Yvette (Lucien) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joachim and Marie; grandson Joachim; and son-in-law Brian (Joey) Bruce. Alf spent a great deal of time gardening and enjoying building model aircraft. This was his favourite past time, as most were made from scratch. He has 12 such models displayed at the Western Canada Aviation Museum. He also had a love for animals and will be missed by his dog Cashew.
