Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySIEBELLA BERNADINA HERBSTREIT (nee OVERDREEF) On Monday, January 9, 2006, Siebella Bernadina Herbstreit, aged 72 years, beloved wife of Helmut Herbstreit, passed away peacefully at home with family at her side. Besides her husband Helmut, Siebella leaves to reflect on her passing son Glenn of Winnipeg; daughter Diana Snarr and husband Glen; three grandsons, Kyle, Jason and Mark of Calgary; as well as other family members and friends. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial reception will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Siebella's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9. March 4th, 1966, the day of the" Big Storm " I first met Siebella. In a small way I was of some assistance in a time of need. Although not a close friend, I did meet with her and the family every March 4th, for several years until I left the Province in 87.
