CAMILLE (CAM) FRANCIS DEVOS It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Cam DeVos on Monday, January 9, 2006. Our husband, father, brother, and friend passed away while curling in a senior's bonspiel in Brandon. Remaining to forever cherish Cam's memory are his second wife Fran; son Perry (Joan); daughters, Kelly (Jim) and Alison (Mark); six grandchildren; stepchildren, Cindy (Curtis), Corey (Jodee), Brayden (Victoria) and Rick (Daniele); six stepgrandchildren and brother George (Gwen). Cam was predeceased by his mother Mary and father John and first wife Evelyn in 1988. On July 19, 1932 Cam was born in Swan Lake, MB. Through the 60's and 70's he was a very involved volunteer, executive member and coach at Bord-Aire Community Club. He especially enjoyed the years coaching the Senior Girls hockey team. The most fun and most coachable group he was ever involved with. Cam retired from Manitoba Hydro after 39 years of service in 1989. Fran came into his life in 1990 and they were married in 1993. Cottage life, golf, baseball, curling and exercise at the Winnipeg Reh-Fit Centre kept him busy, content and young at heart. We hope his wide circle of family and friends, many lifelong, will join us in a Celebration of Cam's life on Saturday, January 14 at 1:00 p.m. in Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Ave. at Rouge Road with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H.,V.F. presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cam's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Suite 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L OK6. Cam's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
