Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCIE MARIE GAGNON (nee NORMANDEAU) 1930 - 2006 Surrounded by her loving family, Lucie passed away peacefully on January 10, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Lucie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Edmond; four children, Cecile (Gilles), Louise (Henri), Claude (Therese) and Yvette (Richard); 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; her sisters, Emilia, Therese, Aurise, Noellia (Theodore) and one brother Raymond (Louise); sisters-in-law, Rosanna, Phyllis and Lorraine; many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends who all loved her dearly. She was predeceased by her parents, Arse and Albertine (Cote); and four siblings, Elphege, Albert, Ovide and Anita. Born, raised and married in La Broquerie, Lucie and Edmond moved to Lorette in 1961. Mom had a passion for cooking, baking, sewing, quilting and more importantly, spending time playing cards with family and friends. Throughout her life, Mom was a devout Christian. Her faith in God gave her the strength to accept her illness with courage, according to God's will. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Armand Legal at the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church in Lorette, MB on Saturday, January 14 at 10:30 a.m. Viewing and prayers will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Green Acres Cemetery.
