DORIS (DENNY) LEIBL On Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Denny Leibl passed away after a brief illness. Mom was born in 1924 in London, England to a large loving family, one of 12 children. She came to Canada in 1945 as a War Bride and was married to Joe Leibl for 49 years. She spent the last five years of her life at Amber Meadows Retirement Home where she made many friends and participated in numerous activities. Mom volunteered as a Reading Grandma at James Nisbet School. This gave her much pleasure, as she loved being with children. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Sandi James (Jim), granddaughter Michelle Daigle (Adrien) and her beautiful great-granddaughter Lauren Grace. Her remaining family in England, Australia, Canada and the United States will also miss their Dolly . Our thanks and appreciation goes out to the hospital staff as well as to the staff at Amber Meadows for the wonderful care Mom received. A service will be held in the chapel at Etz Chayim Synagogue on Friday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Rosh Pina Cemetery.
