PAUL BONI SR. Peacefully at his residence, Paul Boni Sr. passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by one brother John Boni Sr. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 58 years, Natalie; his children, Stephen, Paul Jr. (Jane), Bill (April); grandchildren, Alicia (Jason), Amanda, Garrett, Keaton; great-grandson Darren; and one brother Tom (Anita). Paul served in the Air Force from 1943 to 1946. After his discharge he met and married the love of his life Natalie and together they raised their three boys. Paul will always be remembered as a hard worker and had a love for driving. He worked for Winnipeg Transit driving street cars and buses and also owned his own Duffy's cab. He then moved to British Columbia with his family and worked as a Beachcomber and then went to work with B.C. Rail until his retirement in 1989. After retiring Paul enjoyed taking trips with Natalie to Las Vegas and British Columbia to visit with family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with visitation held one half hour prior to the service. In Paul's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
